In this broken world, we only see glimpses of Him. In the Bible, we find a few moments when people come into the awesome presence of God.
We find one of those instances here in Ezekiel 1:28
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown.
One day, we will all be in His presence. Overwhelmed by His majesty and glory.
I am thankful we have a little peek behind the curtain.
I am thankful that God sent Jesus to cleanse me of my sins. I could never stand before God and His holiness. But because of the forgiveness and cleansing I have that comes from the death of Jesus.
I know my heavenly Father will receive me, and I can’t wait to see Him face to face.
