Leaders who fear God bring joy and peace. — 2 Samuel 23:3–4
What a delight when we know our leaders are submitted to God. It brings peace and joy to those they lead.
2 Samuel 23:3–4 (NIV84):
When one rules over men in righteousness,
when he rules in the fear of God,
4 he is like the light of morning at sunrise
on a cloudless morning,
like the brightness after rain
that brings the grass from the earth.’
Help me, Lord, to fear you and to lead in truth and live in your righteousness.
