God will hand all kingdoms over to Christ and He will reign forever.
Daniel had an incredible dream. God was revealing to him what was to come. In his dream there were four awesome beast and then a horn with eyes on it and a mouth speaking arrogantly. Then Daniel saw the thrown room of God (the Ancient of Days). Fire flowed from the throne and thousands attended the throne and thousands upon thousands stood before Him and the books were opened.
Then we read Daniel 7:13-14

In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
The Christ will be given authority over all people for the end of time. Wow!
Daniel was trying to understand the dream and so he asked.
Daniel 7:16-18
So he told me and gave me the interpretation of these things: 17 ‘The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.’
Wow! The saints of the Most High will possess it forever and ever!
Those who place their faith in Christ will be with Him forever and ever!
What an incredible hope.
When the books are open, and you stand before the Ancient of Days, is your name written in the book of life? Are you counted as one of the saints of the Most High.
Those who are will be with Him forever.
