I am amazed at the incredible accuracy of the vision given to Daniel in about 555 BC.
God brings Daniel an incredible vision of the future. Here is just a small part:
Daniel 8:5, 8
As I was thinking about this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between his eyes came from the west, crossing the whole earth without touching the ground…
The goat became very great, but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.
Then God gives him the literal interpretation:
Daniel 8:20-22
The two-horned ram that you saw represents the kings of Media and Persia. 21 The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes is the first king. 22 The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power.
We know from history that around 336 BC, Alexandria the Great conquered most of the known world in just 13 years, and later, the Greek empire was divided among his four generals.
Over 200 years earlier, God revealed this and much more to Daniel. In exact detail!
Wow! God knows, and God holds the future. Let’s worship Him and let’s follow Him with our lives.
He knows the way.
He is the way!
