We Need to Make a Plan, but We Must Trust God — Proverbs 16:3, 9, 21:31
Proverbs 16:9 (NIV84)
“In his heart a man plans his course,
but the Lord determines his steps.”
Without a plan we get no where, but God is the One who makes it happen.
We should prepare for the plans ahead.
Proverbs 21:31 (NIV84)
“The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the Lord.”
God is the One who brings victory and success.
Proverbs 16:3 (NIV84)
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.”
So let’s plan. Even plan for great things!
But we must commit ourselves fully to God and He will direct our steps and lead us.
